Happy Memorial Day to all my American readers. Lets see just how patriotic this RAW and Review will be.
Fi Fy Fo!
After an unnecessarily long recap of the Big Show/John Cena stuff from last week, Big Show came out. Big Show said he was happy to do his job. He said he doesn't have to smile and pander anymore because he has an iron clad contract. Show said he can do whatever he wants whenever he wants. Show said there is no one in his league at all. Show complained about Brodus Clay coming out and having fun minutes after he was on his knees begging for a job. He specifically called out Kofi Kingston and R-Truth, who he thought were his friends. He called everyone shallow and phony. But Show said John Cena disappointed him the most. Show thought Cena was going to fight and stand up for Show's job, but instead Cena made jokes. Show said he hurt Cena last week, and what he does at No Way Out will be the same. Show said No Way Out will be the most embarrassing loss of his career. And that puts a smile on his face.

Ten Things I Would Like to See From 3 Hour RAWs
So, in case you guys didn't here, RAW is moving to three hours starting with their 1,000th episode. And in case you didn't see my small write up in my Over the Limit Preview, I think having a 3 hour RAW every week will be bad for the long run. The WWE is having enough problems putting together two hour RAWs recently, why should I have any faith in them to put together a good three hour RAW every week? Plus, the WWE's most recent three hour RAWs don't exactly have the greatest track record. Outside of the Old School RAW at the end of 2010, no three hour RAW has been good from beginning to end. We did get the Nexus invasion in the summer of 2010, but that came at the tail end of an absolutely abysmal show.

The RAW Truth Review for 5/21/12
Another RAW, another Live Review. I must cherish these 2 hour RAWs while they last!
YELL! ANGRY WORDS! AHHHH!!!
They recapped last night's AMAZING John Cena/John Laurinaitis match with still photos of the match and children and women in horror.
John Cena came out looking pissed. Cena said he can't move on from last night and asked what the hell happened. Cena couldn't believe John Laurinaitis beat him. He called Laurinaitis a bully and he was finally getting what came to him at Over the Limit. Then Big Show knocked Cena out cold. Cena isn't happy with Big Show selling out. Cena said anyone would have hired Big Show back, but instead Show decided to sell out. Cena continued to yell and complain.

WWE Over the Limit Review
Check here for LIVE on-going Over the Limit updates.
Kane defeated Zack Ryder with a chokeslam. Like you expected anything else?
A battle royal was added with someone facing either Cody Rhodes or Santino Marella later in the night for their respective titles. The Battle Royal just started the PPV for no reason. No PPV intro at all. The final 4 was Tyson Kidd, Miz, David Otunga and Christian. Otunga eliminated Tyson Kidd. Christian dumped Otunga. Miz threw Christian on the apron and tried to eliminate him but couldn't. Christian eventually eliminated Miz for the win. Christian appeared to point to Santino, making it known he will challenge for the United States Title.
WINNER: Christian

WWE Over the Limit Preview & 3 Hour RAW Thoughts
Hey, did you know that there was a PPV this Sunday? Sometimes I wonder if the WWE knows either. This Sunday is Over the Limit, live on PPV. Like usual, I would expect this to be one of the lower bought PPVs of the year, if not the lowest. May tends to be the down time for WWE. Wrestlemania is now a thing of the past and the WWE is just looking to fill time in between that and the beginning of their big summer push. Usually the WWE tries to pull something big out to start the summer. Last year we had the rise of C.M. Punk. Two years ago we had the birth of Nexus. We can only hope the WWE has something big planned with Brock Lesnar this summer, because his absence has been quite noticeable on RAW.

The RAW Truth Review for 5/14/12
Its the RAW Truth Review starring Justin C. I'm sorry if you were expecting Brock Lesnar.
Triple H ran in to John Laurinaitis backstage. Laurinaitis apologized for Brock attacking him. Laurinaitis asked if he had anything to say. Hunter said he would say what he had to say in the ring.
Law And Order: In A Wrestling Ring!
HHH came out and they recapped Lesnar's attack on HHH. HHH said that he is offended by Brock Lesnar by saying he had to bring legitimacy back to the WWE. HHH said that Lesnar is offending everyone with what he has been saying. HHH said he is embarrassed because he bought into Brock Lesnar's crap, just like he did in 2002. HHH then went on to bury Lesnar and his UFC career and talked about John Cena beating Brock Lesnar. And when Cena beat Lesnar John Cena quit again.

The WWE in 2012 So Far
I normally like to break down the WWE into three different parts of the year. The first part is January-April. That's the Wrestlemania build period and then the leftover month has rematches at Extreme Rules. May-August starts with the early summer lull that gets better when Money in the Bank comes around and the build to SummerSlam begins. After August you get the September-December period, where the WWE has to compete with football and try to keep their fans interest leading into the new year and Wrestlemania time. Since we've come to the end of the first trimester of the WWE year, then I think it is only right to look back and evaluate what has been right and wrong, and what lies ahead for the WWE in 2012.

The RAW Truth Review for 5/7/12
Sadly, I don't know if this show will be starring Brock Lesnar.
We Want An Ace Crusher
RAW started with a recap of John Laurinaitis beatdown of John Cena last week, then Laurinaitis came out. He said no one will challenge his authority. He said at Over the Limit he will continue what Brock Lesnar did, and he will humble Cena. Laurinaitis said the WWE Board of Directors knows he is tough but fair, and that is why John Cena is not here and why he wasn't punished. But in the spirit of "People Power," John Cena will do an interview live via satellite and will apologize for making fun of John's voice. He put everyone on notice. He said he was the greatest wrestler in Japan and showed pictures of him wrestling. He said his match with Cena will be bigger than Rock/Cena or Brock/Cena. He wished John Cena the best.

The Brock Lesnar Fallout: One Week Later
The majority of the time, I try to keep my cool while writing. I don't like to over react to any one event. It's bad and makes me come off as rash and hostile, at least in my opinion. As a writer one needs to stay objective and observe things from the big picture rather than giving a split second reaction. Any time a writer reacts quickly and negatively it can come off as rash and unprofessional.
All of that is what I did last week after Brock Lesnar lost at Extreme Rules to John Cena. At the time, I was pissed and confused at the same time. Here is the guy you brought in to make you money. He was here to go up against the top guys and improve your ratings and PPV buys. And what happens in his first match back? He loses top John Cena. I was furious. What I thought had been a great PPV up until that point went down in my eyes after this result. I let it drag down my review of the show at the end. It went from being a 9 to a 7.
